Wake Forest FFA Alumni Plant Sale starting Thursday, April 4th. It is earlier than usual this year, thanks for the Easter holiday. Wake Forest High School horticulture students have a great selection of bedding plants, perennials, hangings baskets, herbs, vegetables ready for you.
Make plans to stop by the Wake Forest High School greenhouse starting Thursday, April 4-6th. Our prices are always very affordable and this is currently our primary fundraiser to support our local FFA program. With your purchase you will be helping to fund learning activities throughout the year. Invite your neighbors, bring a friend, and come out while our greenhouse is open on the following dates and times:
Thursday, April 4th from 10am - 6pm
Friday, April 5th from 10am - 6pm
Saturday, April 6th from 8am to 3pm.

Member Outing: Thursday, March 21st in Wilson, NC. Visit to the Whirligig Park and Museum then a brief stop at a botanical garden. Lunch at Parker’s BBQ in Wilson.
Member Outing: Saturday, Febrary 10, Trip to the National Weather Service in Raleigh, part of NOAA. Followed by lunch at Neomonde restaurant in Raleigh by the J.C. Raulston Arboretum.
Member Doings: Spring Social, Thursday, February 8th 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM
Garden Club Social at the clubhouse of The Villas of Wake Forest. Bring your favorite Vakentine special dinner or dessert to share. Tea and water is provided. Other beverages are "bring your own." Mayor Vivian Jones will be our guest.
Project Note:
The Wake Forest Historical Museum Staff asked for the number of hours the Garden Club members worked in the garden beds in 2023. The number was 300 hours! Thank you to everyone who has taken responsibility for a garden bed and a special thanks to the Gardens Committee

Members will find that this beautifully landscaped 55 acre garden includes four themed sections including a large central terraced garden, wooded areas, fountains, artistic sculptures, gazebos, pathways, bridges and grassy areas.
